Car was seen to and customer service is always very good at Haliwell Jones Chester. They keep you regularly updated on progress and if they have time have a chat and clean my Mini too.

Halliwell Jones provided an excellent service and support in dealing with BMW regarding a fault with excessive wear of the rear brakes. The only issue was the length of time BMW took to respond over what clearly is a warranty matter

Stuart Goulden was straightforward and answered a questions directly. Only thing that was slightly negative was the detailing - can see wax from crayoned parts number on windscreen when I'm driving in the dark. Bodywork was a bit smudgy too.

As I live about 35 miles away it was more convenient for me to do a bit of shopping and wait . The customer waiting area provided plenty of things to keep me occupied. The service was completed promptly and car valeted.
Mini had a full service in 2 hours and I was shown to a coffee area with tv, WiFi and computer access should I need ut
There was NO amazing handover. My parents received champagne, a car unveiling & free valets for life collecting their £7k VW UPS the day before. I received nothing from MINI. I hoped for an unveiling at the very least as it's an exciting time.

I had given them details about what the car was coming for (brake pad warning light was on) but they didn't do any prep work for that, they could have replaced the brakes at the same time as the service, but instead I have to go back to have it done
